Dr thinks I’ll go any second, I’m having contractions pretty much constantly 30 min apart but I think that the baby is going to just be stubborn and wait 3 more weeks.

Anecdotally with my first I was 1cm dilated and "partially effaced" (wasn't given an exact percentage) at my 37 week appointment. At 38 weeks I was fully effaced and 2cm dilated. My water broke at 39w3d and I had my baby at 2am on 39w4d. With my second I don't know when I would have gone into labor naturally as I was induced at 38 weeks.Re: 3 cm dilated and 90% effaced. Dilation means nothing; you could have a baby tomorrow or at 41 weeks. I've heard that too - my first was born at 37 weeks so I think that's why my dr thinks it will be sooner rather than later.
