Even when you manage to take her alive, the dialog options assume she's dead. No flames or shock damage. I’ve noticed if you don’t keep shooting them after they’re down then you didn’t kill them. I think this was a really stupid aspect of the game. If you don't shoot them when they're down they don't count as dead.
