As you can see, the cap is on the left side so this is for left side stators. It's not really a distinct line..it's more like 2 little notches next to the sight glass.

But for the neutral thing, sometimes, you just have to roll the bike a smidge or just releaase the clutch slightly for the gear to engage - thats not a problem and is normal.
