There is power to dash switchs for jake and cruise. Power to the clutch sensor. The pedal wouldn't fully release and this caused cruise and jake to not work. Pretty normal for exhaust brakes. Even with a Jake, we used to turn the fan on manually at times.14 or 15L engine you get 30-40hp worth of braking effort out of the fan. Exhaust brakes trap heat in the engine when they,re on so they trip the fan. They can use the extra brake effort from the fan too as they're pretty weak to start with.And while the 6.7L exhaust brake won't bring you to stop. It does a great job of holding your speed down a grade. I don't use my EB to SLOW me down, But rather to HOLD my speed. Then to the solenoids in the heads. The foot switch behind the dimmer switch is the air horn.
