Lost Cities + Silver armor. So I heard the strat was to go into lost cities with silver armor. So I went with a decked out set. Adv prot 4, adv mending. Stacked a bunch of potion effects and used the wine to make them last and the highest tier. I go in, and no longer than 5 minutes my chestplate is just completely broken and I died.I’m far from being an expert but doing the nunchuck / shield combo was my go-to strategy for Lost Cities. Add in the battle burrito / wine strategy and you might stand a chance. (Oh, and silver armor with unbreaking 4, advanced mending, and advanced protection 4.) The thing is, there is no real armour cap. For certain damage numbers you can have enough armour to reduce that incomming damage by the max of 80%. The issue is that, with the new parasites in the lost cities, you don't reach that 80% reduction because they simply have too much damage, and thus armour is still very beneficial.
