Sig p365 macro no comp.
A longer barrel will bind up and the gun can not cycle. In this video the 3.7 inch barrel would NOT go into the Comp slide. I was told the diameter where the comp is won't allow for any material from a longer barrel to pass through. If you try sliding a longer barrel into the comp'd slide, the barrel will stop and not be able to seat in the slide.

You can buy a threaded barrel for the regular p365 from true precision and you will just have to remove the thread protector when you put it in the slide.
