I deleted tinfoil about 2 years ago, the changing shops, the have to have tinfoil running while downloading, the bugs and what not. … just use your computer to download “whatever” and install it with USB connection, takes a lot less time.

But for some reason every shop I try will start the download, then just "freeze" a bit into it. Simply uninstalling Tinfoil and reinstalling didn't work, but I ended up deleting the entire Tinfoil folder and starting with a fresh download of Tinfoil from their website. After installing it worked. I had to re-set up the stores but it's working now.

NH guide intentionally does not load fs patches, which tinfoil needs to run. Theres a reason this sub highly recommends the rentry guide and not the nh guide.
