Title. It takes me around 45 secs - 1 min to do a quicksave. No idea what's going on. Turned off all the cloud stuff, steam and in-game. Tried renaming the folder in appdata so the game made a new folder from steam cloud. Didn't change a thing. Firewall and anti-virus are all allowing the game. Basically, the map, textures, models, etc, load WAAAAY to slow. Even the menu map takes ~3 minutes to fully load. And when I try to walk, the game keeps reloading the assets (I even managed to find some out-of-bounds stuff like dev textures lol). Since Patch 4 the game Graphic dont work anymore. Looks like most of the assets dont load including transparency settings of some assets like fog or similar. I play BG3 on PC and my GPU is a Radeon RX 5700 XT. Before the patch, the game worked without graphic errors. My graphics driver is up to date. It's not a GOG-specific issue; the problem was the hard drive being overwhelmed by lots of requests, forcing BG3 to wait. Assuming Windows, use Task Manager to check if the drive is hitting 100%. My BG3 is loaded on a SATA SSD and I am loaded up in about 20seconds (though I haven't put a stop watch on it). If I put BG3 on my m.2 I can imagine it would be a little bit quicker.
Some motherboards have a built-in video port as well. Its a common mistake to make. But back on subject I have a GTX 1060 card and my models are slow to load at time as well.
