Uchigatana +5 sharp does base damage of 143, Kilij +5 sharp does 135 base damage. Slightly more base damage might be the reason, also both scale to S in sharp and tearing. I've never been a Kilij fan, I usually go Uchigatana. FlyinBrian 13 years ago #6. moon weapons have higher base damage but crescent weapons have better stat scaling. the MP regen is rather negligible. darkmoonstone is also easier to get since reapers drop the shards and chunks. if you get enough to upgrade them moon weapons will do more damage than crescent weapons till your magic gets pretty high ...
