Had it out last night and it had been running fine, went to get on plane to go to a new spot and it started to shake / miss and didn't have much power. Pulled the plugs and 2&4 are much more black and soaked than 1&3. It has new plugs and wires. I have a 1976 Aquasport 170 with a 1990 Evinrude 88 SPL Outboard. I recently had awful phase separation issues in my below deck 27 gallon aluminum fuel tank. I believe it was a bad fill up from a local fuel dock. My tank, lines, filters, etc... are all brand new. I used my existing fuel line and primer bulb to manually drain the bottom of my tank.Can someone please tell me the proper prop nut torque for a 1995 Evinrude 88 SPL. With the engine not running and in forward gear I can turn the prop (although with considerable resistance) by hand. I hear what sounds like the rubber bushing rubbing on the thrust washer. Is this normal even if the prop nut is torqued correctly? Thanks
