I couldn't but help overhear a conversation (at my LGS) someone saying that the Glock 43X (perhaps Glocks in general) when brand new should be "broken in" by firing at least 350 rounds (Yikes!) of BALL ammo before being reliable enough for loading with "Personal Defense type Ammo".View attachment 730848 As you can see, it sits flush on the opposite side, and stands out on the push side further than a factory Glock does. Hi. I bought my first pistol, a Glock 43X. Unfortunately, I have a problem with misfires, the reason is that the firing pin strikes too little. Sometimes it happens 2-3 times per 10 pieces of ammo. Compact, light, portable, and easily concealed, the GLOCK 43 gave us seven shots with GLOCK reliability. But the pistol was too small for some of us to shoot well. The GLOCK 43X solved that problem neatly. By extending the grip, we now have ten rounds and a firing grip that makes for a much better fit and feel for most hands.

The only issue I have in this is that it is Glock and in this case a 43x and 48 built on the same platform with many of the same internal components. The main exceptions seem to be the slide and barrel, which add mass to the front end of where the 43x leaves off. I would have to imagine that if both the 43 slide and 48 slide function …
