Or your in one of the new towns that does not have foraging working properly yet. Honestly that's really odd. There's a lot of factors that go into the new foraging system and if you're not finding anything it may be because of panic, stress, depression, light levels, fog levels, rain, and/or zoning. Watched a bit of Retanaru's vod from a YT stream he did to test/use debug mode with the new foraging - I highly suggest checking it out and skipping through some of the more boring parts of it (it's a 2 hour vod, but it doesn't take long for him to see some glaring issues/test around with it to "see" what is best for min/maxing foraging).
