527 posts · Joined 2007. #34 · May 31, 2008. yes, those are supposed to, you have a different tranny. the 5.7 and 4.7's use the 545RFE whereas the 3.7, 3.0, and 6.1 use the W5A580 which aparently is not supposed to.I would definately do a change and not a flush. Make sure you also change the transmission filter. Dealers and shops push a flush because it is easier for them and a flush does not typically involve a filter change. ^^^Agree, my Dealer also pushes the flush BS, instead of pulling the pan and installing a new filter.
