Once it reach the running temperature its goes away. I have no check engine light whatsoever but is kind of anoying comming from a brand new car. I was wondering if anyone had the same issue. The Optima uses the larger Theta II 2.4L engine and the Soul uses either the Nu 2.0L or the Gamma 1.6L engine. The recalls on your car would have extended the warranty (KSDS) to 15 years 150K miles if it was done right away. But they won’t warranty it if the engine fails and the recall wasn’t done.1. Belt replacement recommended, but should be due to cracking, not "wear". 2. Minor oil leaks. 3. CEL with code for #4 cylinder misfire.
