Seems like a crappy implementation by Tesla because MyQ is aware of the door state. Whenever my garage door is opened or closed manually via wall switch, the MyQ app (on my phone, not Tesla) reflects the correct door state. Very odd that Tesla doesn't poll MyQ api to figure out the current state as you prepare to depart or arrive home.
