How to add bios to retroarch.
The fix for this is to enable the Core Option for "Boot to BIOS", exit RA, delete all of the vmu_save*.bin files, start RA/Flycast. It will boot to BIOS where you can select the VMU option, select one of the VMUs, click the "All" icon in upper-left, click Delete All and the VMU will be formatted/intialized.
So, I have made sure to find the correct bio files (awbois.7z and naomi.7z) and everything else that goes in /retroarch/system/dc. I have sourced my Naomi .CHD's from the MAME 0.218 rom set, same with the atomiswave games. From what I've read, both Naomi and Atomiswave utilize the same bios files and core (flycast).From a text editor: Close RetroArch. Find your retroarch config folder. Tip. If you are having trouble locating your retroarch config folder, check back in the Directories setting, take a mental note of what appears on the Config directory, this should lead you to a retroarch folder. Core Firmware Bios missing, how to add. I'm using Retroarch with lakka. The standard PS1 emulator won't start any EU games for me. After some research I found out that I need a specific BIOS for the emulator to work. I downloaded it and put it into my "Cores" folder. Sadly this won't work.
