Sig m11-a1 discontinued.

The original P228 has an almost cult following among Sig fans, due it being discontinued. Someone at Sig thought putting P228 grips on the M11-A1 would lend it some street cred. Don't get sucked into the "real" P228 twaddle. The M11-A1 is the improved version of the M11 which was the military designation for the P228. The improved gun has a stronger milled slide, external extractor, eliminated the pinned breech block, higher mag capacity, revised frame (using a rail-less P229), stock night sights and coated internal parts.

The M11-A1 has a pretty stiff factory mainspring. Maxed out the gage (12lbs) part way through the DA pull. It was pretty ridiculous on mine. 18# spring worked with a DA pull around 10.5 lbs but 17 didn't so I'm going with a 19# just to be on the safe side.
