I’ve been trying to use the official Pico-8 Raspberry Pi emulator to work on my RGB30 running ArkOS with use of the guidance from Retro Game Corps. However when going into the device and choosing Pico-8, Fake08 is used to open the games. I’ve got into settings and changed the Emulator option to Retroarch but Fake08 is still being used.It runs pretty good on the RGB30, I would say get the RGB30 since you can hook it up to an external display, a Bluetooth controller and treat it like a mini console. To me, my devices are great and I had little to no issues since I was modding them anyway. I still have JelOS on a different SD card but now I run ArkOS.Once ArkOS is setup to use the second sd slot for roms and games, your main sd card and your roms sd card must be in the unit for ArkOS to boot. This process will NOT copy any of your roms, games and saves from the main SD card to the secondary card. It will just create the structure for you. With ArkOS I recommend Duckstation for PSX so you can change the disk read speed to speed up load times and most games are stable in my experience. Whenever I find a game on MAME not working, I replace that particular game with a ROM from MAME set 0.78. R-Type is one example. I am getting awful performance in mame with my rgb30 using the mame 2003 plus emulator, even basic stuff like galaga / galaxians running very choppy. On the latest jelos release with sandisk cards.
