Nov 14, 2017 · 8 posts · Joined 2017. #1 · Nov 14, 2017. Having issues with no control power on my MVP3 plow. Have completed all the usual checks for plugs / cabling and grounding etc. But no luck. Can hear solenoid clicking when power plug is connected. When main power plug is connected the flashing red light on the remote goes from slow blinking to faster. Im sorry dont have expericence with fisher plows but I will get a bigger fuse. Either a 10amp or 15amp and it shouldnt blow then. I have done this with fuses on my trucks before. Don't put a bigger fuse in it,you may fry something. That fuse powers the controller,the plow solenoid,and the control coils. When the raise or angle buttons are pressed you can hear the solenoid engage but there is no 12v on the output. Still have the problem of controller losing communication at times. I stop, then can raise plow and then it works again. Other times I see it blinking when I am just plowing.

Checked power/gnd at 6 pin and all good when not connected.Just the headlights but it completes the ground loop that the module uses to tell the plow is connected. Wire #1 in the vehicle-side controller harness tests at 0 V. - Wire #1 in the vehicle-side controller harness is intact and has electrical connectivity from the harness to pin C, port B of the isolation module. - Power is reaching the isolation module as expected. It should come out 12 " maybe from the plug, locating it under the dash. Usually a fuse tap is used to plug it into the fuse panel but it will have an inline fuse. This is the ground fault that makes the module think the headlights are plugged in. Did this last week when a guy brought his truck in w/o the plow. It proved he had power to the controller. He had installed his own plow side harnesses and didn't attach the solenoid ground to the ground lug on the motor.MM1 EZ-V problems.
