Oct 18, 2020 · Not all Rock-Ola receivers are stamped M14. A very small number were stamped PRM -1. I was informed this stood for PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF MARYLAND. Have heard that JRA is offering or will perhaps a cast receiver for the M14, is that true?? No reason they should not but would assume doing so would be to be able to compete with other cast receiver mfg.'s.

JRA is a great choice and the 19.25" is nice vs. the SAI Scout length as you can remove the gas system without taking off the flashhider! I am building a JRA 19.25" now using the JRA barreled receiver and USGI components.
