I'm having issues with the lost to the ages quest. I have reset to a previous save. Fast traveled away. Waited days. And the quest still says to stand clear. At first the tower never came up and after fast traveling away and coming back its there but there's no lift or door or anything. Katria just keeps saying go ahead give it a try.

For quite a time this shard was kept in my inventory till yesterday i've decided to try and do its quest, Lost to the Ages. In short: The quest should start while reading a book called The Aetherium Wars .

The game won't let me find the 3rd Aetherium shard in lost to the ages quest. So far I have 2 shards. When I go to my quest log and go to the lost to the ages part and click on it, the game won't go to maps and show me it's location. I can't interact with the quest all a sudden. I'm playing on 360. I've just completed the quest Lost to the ages where you have to help Katria's ghost locate and use the Aetherium forge. I'm now wondering which item is the best to forge and which you all chose and why. I went with the crown because it's the most valuable but I feel like I'm missing out on the staff, the shield I couldn't really give a shit about.

Reload a previous save, as it seems a mod destroyed your quest. Try loading a save without mods then go to Arkngthamz. My saves don't go back to before I started Dawnguard which seems to be the issue sadly. Ill try and save my current game and then uninstall all the mods and see if that helps like you suggested.
