New doesn't always mean better. New tech won't mean they will be rendered obsolete. Even if Moondrop releases a Blessing 3, it won't mean the 2 "doesn't hold up" because it's ultimately a timeless quality sounding IEM. As far as mids go, the Aria to my ears sounds more coloured, and the Blessing 2 more neutral. The perception of detail on the Blessing 2 compared to the Aria is most noticeable here. Treble is a mixed bag.
