And there we go. An out of the box neptune 4 profile directly bundled with orca. Everything I've needed to tune and figure out on my custom Cura profile was mostly there (with some minor exceptions) and 5 minutes later I was ready to print my first model and it worked like a charm. So like the title already says: give Orca a try.

I do … SuperSlicer probably won't have any means of wirelessly sending the print to a Bambu. I would definitely recommend starting with Bambu Slicer first, then once you get comfortable you could move to Orca slicer. If you already use SuperSlicer it'll take no time at all to get use to Bambu Studios. The Neptune is only supported officially via Elegoo Cura 4.8, and in Prusa, which I link to in another video. It's not the final profile, but prusa and their working profile is better than Cura 4.8. Thanks. I just switched to Orca from cura and it has pretty solid stock profiles for neptune 4 and elegoo pla. Honestly after using orca idk that I can go back to cura, just seems so much more user friendly imo. There wasn't much I had to change from the stock settings, just ran the built in calibration tests in order.

Default profiles are going to differ from slicer to slicer but you should be calibrating those anyway for each roll of filament. If you did that and actually used the same profile for each different slicer you’d notice the exact same print. 1. The arrange function in SS works miles better than Cura, thats a big plus for me. I also like the option to add the little adhesion buttons to the first layer, to keep sharp corners from pulling up, they work great when youre printing at 100mm/s.
