There are three different doubled die varieties for the 1971-S Proof Lincoln cent. The one imaged here is refered to as FS-033 and has one of the strongest varieties of the three. The doubling is visible on the words, In God We Trust and Liberty but not on the date. Overall a scarce variety that commands a strong premium and worth looking for.

While looking through a roll of pennies today that had a shiny new penny on one end and an old circulated penny on the other end, this is what I found... 5 copper pennies, 23 zincolns and 22 nice looking 2024's!
