MEC sure did get confusing on this one, because the part numbers for the pre-82 600 jr die set and the 83-85 set are the same (8335XX). On the other hand, Ballistics Products uses 1983 as the crossover point and lists the newer style die set (8452XX) for anything after 1983.BTW - published weights for bushings are an estimate based on a mythical "average grain size" always go by the actual weight it is throwing with your specific powder, in your loader, and adjust the bushing size accordingly. If they had it as a feeder for a 600 jr. you should be able to return it to them because of miss labeling. The only style feeder I know of that works on a 600 jr. is the one in the above post with the instruction sheet link. Steve
