The TCP is definitely a "different animal" in terms of shooting. I have a 24/7 OSS and a Millennium Pro, and I can assure you that the little PT738 requires a different shooting platform than either of its heavier and beefier "big sisters". Also, the smaller caliber pistols, (TCP / LCP, etc.) are known to sometimes be ammo picky.

Im an experienced shooter and without offending anyone, had some reserve purchasing a taurus. The reviews for the tcp have been positive so I said wth.

I have 738 TCP with model number ending in "C". So far the ONLY ammo my TCP will feed and cycle without issues is 90grain JHP Hornady ammo thats around $15 for 25bullets. I have tried cheap ammo; 95grain FMJ Fiocchi - $15 for 50 rounds. This ammo seems to be too wide for the mag and the bullets actually get stuck in the mag.
