According to Southern California Edison, the outage of unknown origin, hit at 1:22 a.m. and affected 3,987 customers. Edison crews have restored power to some areas and expect have all the power back by 10:00.
At about 5:50 this morning, a traffic collision in Twentynine Palms took out a power pole at Adobe and Amboy Roads. Live electric lines were on northbound Adobe Road and it was closed until Southern California Edison workers could repair it. Edison reports 387 customers were left without power.
