Wheel Horse Electrical. I am putting together, after restoration, a 310-8. It is an 85 and I was missing the safety switch under the seat. Ordered one from Joe Hemi and installed it however it works in reverse. I was thinking maybe its a normally open switch rather than a normally closed switch.

Posted April 26, 2015. One of the stator leads should have a diode after it comes out of the tinwork and usually right before a connector that mates with the tractor harness. Wire with diode goes to the battery. Wire without the diode goes to the light circuit only.
